Sam's Grill · Swift Current
Swift Current — Speedy Creek, if you're from here — is where Sam's crossed provinces: a prairie city on the Trans-Canada that runs on wheat, hockey, and straight talk. The Broncos play here; the highway brings the whole country through. Our store on the South Service Road feeds both the town and the road trip, and the poutine converts skeptics daily. Saskatchewan and Québec, on one plate. Canada, basically.
Every Sam's Grill is run by the family that owns it — ours is no different. The Chirag family has been behind the counter in Swift Current since 2025, pressing the patties, learning the regulars' names, and arguing (gently) about whether the butter chicken poutine is the best thing on the board. Come decide for yourself. People out here drive a long way for dinner. Least we can do is have it hot when they get here.
Meet Chirag
Chirag opened Swift Current in August 2025 and runs it himself — in the kitchen when it's busy, out front when it isn't. He came to this town for the store and stayed for the town. Guests get looked after first; everything else follows from that.

Sam's Farm Circle
Every Sam's Grill plate is backed by named Canadian farms. Watch the board for this town's Farm Circle stories — proof, not claim.
Sam's Table
This Sam's Grill is part of Swift Current — sponsoring, showing up, and giving local teams and organizations a place at the table.
