Repair Cafe Fixes What Matters: 169 Guests Brought Hope and Tools

On October 24, Swift Current's Repair Cafe welcomed 169 guests to a day of fixing instead of tossing. Volunteers worked their magic on everything from kettles to guitars, tackling appliances, electronics, furniture, and musical instruments. It's the kind of gathering that reminds us there's still wisdom in keeping things running instead of sending them to the landfill. Whether your toaster just stopped working or your favourite chair needed love, the Repair Cafe was there. That's community looking out for itself—and for the earth too.
