Swift Current's Young Athletes Shine in Fall Season Starts

Fall sports season is underway in Swift Current, and our young athletes are making their mark. **Soccer & Volleyball Heat Up** The Swift Current Home Hardware U18 AAA Legionnaires opened strong with a 6-5 overtime win against the Moose Jaw Warriors on Sunday—an exciting start to the preseason. The Innovation Federal Credit Union U18 AAA Wildcats wrapped up their Calgary Firestarter Tournament pool play with a solid 3-1 record, picking up wins over Sherwood Park Reign, Westman Wildcats, and St. Albert Raiders Slash. The SCCHS Ardens volleyball team claimed the U of S Huskies high school tournament in Saskatoon over the weekend—a real crown jewel to start the season. The HCSS Ardens soccer team faced tougher waters at their home tournament, dropping matches to Prince Albert St. Mary (3-1) and Weyburn Eagles (2-1), but they're still in the thick of things. Whether it's soccer, volleyball, or any game these athletes play, they bring heart and hustle. Great to see our kids putting in the work and making Swift Current proud.
